Subiaco Academy is a college preparatory,

Urgent Need for Catholic Religious Emblem Counselors;
Training
is (March 3), 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Holy
Family Church, 9100 Crockett Rd., Brentwood. The
Catholic Committee on Scouting trains Catholic adult
leaders on various Catholic religious emblems
available to Cub, Boy, and Girl Scouts. This program
is a great opportunity to get involved with helping
our scouts learn about their faith through the
earning of their scouting religious emblems. For
young people to participate in this Catholic
Ministry, there needs to be adults who are willing
to train on the programs and deliver them to the
youth. Please spread the word to everyone you know
inside and out of your Parish about this training.

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University Class
(Saturdays, beginning February 18),
10 a.m. -12 p.m., St. Stephen, Holy Family Center,

is a 13 consecutive week class that meets once per
week for two hours. You learn everything from
budgeting to giving. Many families have achieved

Religious Emblems Instructor Training
(March 3). The Catholic Committee on Scouting
will host a six hour training session on their
Religious Emblems Program, intended to prepare
instructors to help youth earn this award. If

A Clinical Experiential Course in the Art and
Practice of Pastoral Care (Tuesdays 5:30 - 9 p.m.,
March 6-May 8). As a follow-on to the two introductory courses, A
Survey of the Art and Practice of Pastoral Care,
previously offered through the auspices of the St.
Thomas/Nashville CPE Partnership, this
clinically-focused course will include some
educational features of Basic Clinical Pastoral

Silent Directed Retreats at Mercy Convent (Feb. 20-22, March 23-25, April 27-29),

Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) SEARCH Retreats.
SEARCH is a retreat
program offered by the Catholic Youth Office of the
Diocese of Nashville. It enables high school juniors
and seniors to see how they can be examples of faith
in their own schools and parishes. This is
accomplished by having the Searchers come to know
themselves, others, and God in a more loving and
personal way.

Sisters’ Pilgrimage (February 10-11), beginning 6 p.m. Friday and concluding 8 p.m. Saturday. Single
women ages 18-40 interested in learning more about
life in a religious community are invited to
participate. The participants will spend time with
three religious orders active in Nashville: the
Daughters of Charity, Dominican Sisters of St.
Cecilia Congregation, and the Sisters of Mercy. At
each stop, they will spend time with the sisters in
prayer, meal and recreation and learn how they can
make a difference for people in the Nashville area

program We Believe hosts a discussion with
Fr. Steve Wolf on his book exploring with humor the
compassionate way Jesus deals with the emotion of
anger shown in the story of the healing of the man
with a withered hand in the 3rd chapter of the
Gospel of Mark, the only place in the gospels where
