Faith, academics, service
As
part of Catholic Schools Week, student representatives
from all the schools in the diocese gathered for Mass at
the Cathedral. Because Bishop David Choby was in Rome
for his ad limina visit, Father Mike Johnston, pastor of
St. Henry Parish, celebrated the Mass.
The
contributions of Catholic schools in the dioceses and
across the country were honored during Catholic Schools
Week, celebrated Jan. 29-Feb. 5. Each of the schools
hosted a variety of events during the week to highlight
the accomplishments of their students and the support of
parents, grandparents, teachers and staff. Among the
activities was an all schools Mass celebrated at the
Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville.

After the all schools Mass,

Cathedral of the Incarnation, explains the
words of The Angelus written in Latin around
the walls of the Cathedral to students at
Immaculate Conception School in Clarksville.

children and adults, regardless of their
differences.
